Frank is responsible for Kandou’s manufacturing operations and has a wealth of experience bringing new technologies to market. After 7 years working with the medical device manufacturer, Haemonetics Corporation working out of Glasgow and Boston, MA Frank joined Wolfson Microelectronics in 2001, a fabless start-up based in Edinburgh.
Wolfson successfully IPO’d on the FTSE in 2003, eventually reaching a market cap of £1bn. During his 10 years at Wolfson, Frank established manufacturing capabilities to support revenues of $231m per annum and as VP of Operations built an organisation capable of shipping billions of mixed signal IC’s to the world’s largest consumer electronics brands.
In 2012, Frank joined Adlens Ltd, an Oxford University spin out, developing adaptive lens technologies for eyewear and AR/VR applications. During Frank’s 7 years at Adlens he was COO and acted as CEO. Frank has a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours from the University of Strathclyde and a MBA from the same university in Glasgow.
